Middle Grades Education Program
5th-8th Grade
The College of Education offers a major in Middle Grades Education leading to licensure in Grades 5-8 with concentrations in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
Students entering our Middle Grades Education program will experience three different classroom placements over a period of two years, accumulating over 400 hours of experience working with children. We strive to provide diverse experiences across multiple grade levels in order to best prepare candidates for their professional teaching careers.
